Over the span of December 2nd and 3rd, 2023, ACX1 Studios at Caesar’s Pier in Atlantic City, NJ, played host to an electrifying extravaganza: WHO?MAG Distro Fest 2. Boasting over 70 music acts representing various genres from both national and international realms, alongside an esteemed lineup of 40 music and film industry speakers, the event proved to be South Jersey’s most anticipated music festival and conference of the year. With major sponsors including DPA Microphones, Rocavaka, Gran Centennial, Othawurld Muzik Group, .HIPHOP, and Hip Hop Billionaires, the festival showcased an impressive array of talent, ranging from hip hop legends to emerging R&B sensations and international EDM DJs. Highlights included a special 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop segment, featuring esteemed artists like Just-Ice, Newcleus, and Grandmaster Dee (Whodini), as well as an R&B showcase headlined by The Legendary Intruders and featuring Raz B (B2K) and Jermaine Jones (American Idol). Additionally, Distro Fest 2 offered attendees the opportunity to engage with industry insiders through a series of panel discussions and workshops, featuring speakers from major labels, Grammy and SAG-AFTRA representatives, and music supervisors. With its mission to educate, develop, and showcase the local entertainment community, Distro Fest 2 marked a significant milestone in Atlantic City’s burgeoning music and film scene. As the latest venture of ACX1 Studios, the event underscored the studio’s commitment to fostering creativity and innovation in all its forms.
